Castle Works

This scheme was a proposal for the redevelopment of an industrial site with a mix of 60 new, well-designed and highly sustainable dwellings near Salisbury.

The site contained a number of separate industrial buildings, many of which were showing their age. The local road network and surrounding housing developments meant that continuing the industrial uses on site was a less neighbourly option, and also repairing the buildings was not a commercially viable option in the longer term.

The proposed scheme, therefore, sought to redevelop the site for housing. The designs were innovative and highly sustainable making the most of the site and orientation to minimise energy usage ensuring that the proposed houses that would meet the needs of the community, the client and future homeowners.

Pro Vision designed the scheme and worked on it from the inception working with the client and Local Authority through consultation and application processes.
