Halyards, Mengham

This project was for the development of 131 houses on a site on Hayling Island, Hampshire.

The existing site was undeveloped farmland, part of which had been allocated for housing as a reserve site in the Council’s local plan.

We worked with the clients and the Local Authority over a number of years to achieve outline consent for development across the whole site via an appeal.

Further to this success we subsequently developed the scheme for reserved matters consent for a national housebuilder who purchased the site.

We worked closely with the clients from the inception of the project in order to achieve their goals, managing local objection and bringing together the consultant team to ensure that the scheme not only delivered value for the client but also sought to address local concerns.
