Alex Hannam

Alex has worked in the ecological consultancy sector for over 7 years and joined Pro Vision in February 2022.

He has experience in working on a range of projects from minor housing alterations to large residential developments. The work has involved working with multiple stakeholders including homeowners, developers, architects, planners, Natural England and LPA ecologists. Projects Alex has worked on include residential, highways and research projects on behalf of Natural England.

Alex has Natural England class licences for bats and great crested newts and has held mitigation licences for a wide range of bat species and roost types. In addition to this he is experienced in preparing mitigation strategies and mitigation licences for other protected species. Alex has a particular interest in bats and is licenced to undertake specialist bat surveys such as harp trapping, tree climbing and inspection surveys as well as preliminary roost assessments and activity surveys.
