Hazeley Farm

Hazeley Farm was the development of 10 existing barns and stables on a site in Twyford, Hampshire to convert them into 8 new dwellings.

The barns were a mixture of contemporary steel-framed buildings and historic timber-framed barns, some of which were listed.

Pro Vision worked closely with the client and Local Authority to design and develop a scheme that sought to remove the contemporary barns on site and retain and redevelop the historic barns. We had to carefully manage the heritage considerations when working with listed buildings in order to ensure key historic elements of the building were still retained and expressed, whilst ensuring the buildings could be suitable places for contemporary living.

The result is a high-quality and sensitively designed scheme that seeks to preserve the historic character of the site, whilst making good use of redundant farm buildings.

Pro Vision worked on the project from its inception through to achieving Planning Permission for the client on site.
