Monks Lane

Monks is the development of 16 dwellings off Monks Lane in Newbury.

Establishing appropriate integration with the neighbouring college, nursery school and public house were key factors in the design and consideration of this project. We worked closely with the developer and Local Authority on this allocated site just north of Newbury College, which includes affordable housing and a mix of detached, semi-detached and flatted development.

The scheme was contemporary in design and sought to reflect some of the aspects of contemporary design in the Newbury College campus to the south as well as seeking to reflect on and enhance the best aspects of housing design within the local area.

Pro Vision worked on the scheme from its inception and achieved outline and reserved matters planning consent for the scheme.
